The opening ceremony of the “Blue Week”, National Week of Retired and Elderly People took place yesterday morning at the EHPAD Bethany Home, in the presence of Annick Pétrus, 3rd vice-president in charge of Business social.
These 7 annual days constitute a privileged moment to inform and raise awareness of the contribution of retirees to economic, social and cultural life, on the concerns and difficulties encountered by the elderly, on the achievements and projects of associations.
This event is also an opportunity for the actors who work regularly with the elderly, to organize throughout the week of events which allow to create links between generations by inviting the general public to become aware of the place and the role. that the "old" play in our society.
Note that the Blue Week will be extended until the end of October with one-off scheduled events. _AF
