SECURITY: Better equip cyclone shelters for the next season

For Irma, around 500 people went to the shelters of the Community. This year, the COM presumes that more Saint-Martinois will want to be welcomed if necessary. So she works so that the maximum number of sites is operational.

“I would also like the shelters to be better equipped. For example, I would like each shelter to have a water tank and a generator set in safety, ”she explains. Charlotte Terrac would also like health professionals to be present in the shelters.
