We have been putting up with a pestilential smell of Sargassum in our Cul-de-Sac neighborhood for several weeks and it doesn't seem to be getting better.
Neither the health authorities nor the local authorities seem to be alarmed by this situation.
Last year, a company was responsible for collecting Sargassum around the Pinel pier, which somewhat relieved the residents of the harmful effects of the gases given off by Sargassum (nausea, headaches, migraines and breathing difficulties).
What do we have to do ?
Is it for taxpaying citizens and associations to find solutions to the various problems encountered? NO !
What can we do as citizens?
Protest to the authorities to denounce this unacceptable and unacceptable situation.
Is it so difficult to bring in a com backhoe loader to urgently rid the Sargassum refuse that has been accumulating on the shores of Cul de Sac for several weeks?
Do we have to move from the neighborhood to no longer endure this state of affairs?
Where to stay and contract various respiratory diseases and die? Especially for locals who have no other choice.
