HEALTH: The use of cannabis for medical purposes could be legalized in Sint Maarten

1

The use of cannabis for medical purposes could soon be authorized on the Dutch side; the government of Sint Maarten says in effect "ready" in a press release while specifying that the use of cannabis for other purposes would remain prohibited.

This measure is based on a recent report by the Inspectorate VSA (Sint Maarten health services) which details the conditions under which the herb would be used, imported, stored and sold on the island to be prescribed.

The VSA Inspectorate recommends the use of cannabis-based products in the treatment of specific diseases: nausea and vomiting due to chemotherapy, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, chronic non-cancer pain, tics due to Gilles de la Tourette syndrome. The use would also be authorized in the context of palliative care in terminally ill patients.

These products may be prescribed when the so-called “standard” products have not had the expected effects on patients. And they can only be approved by a licensed doctor and available only in authorized pharmacies.

Recognizing the virtues of cannabis for pain, the VSA Inspectorate believes that it should be used in Sint Maarten to relieve some patients. But it remains for Parliament to legalize use.

Why still the Pharmacies that would still benefit from the Favored Treatment, just like the pharmaceutical lobbies for the upcoming Canabis plantations ...
Why do you think that the French state is carrying out a 2-year study…?!? When European countries have already studied and started selling this Product to Certain Therapeutics known around the world… again to protect the richest class ...
    To meditate therefore… !!!
