Michel Sanz, the representative of the rector, opened Monday morning “L'art en fête”, at the MJC in Sandy Ground, alongside several directors of educational establishments. It is the first time that the education service of the Northern Islands organizes such an event on the territory, with the support of the Community.
“I am proud to welcome this edition, rich in art and culture, from June 13 to 21,” says Line Galves, the manager of the cultural center.
“This event makes it possible to highlight the productions of students of all levels, and is part of the academic project. I remind you that the first objective is the success of all our students ”, underlines Mr. Sanz adding that artistic creation makes it possible to improve academic results. A virtual exhibition launched this beautiful week, followed by performances of song, music and dance. _EH
