RUGBY: A faultless for the U16 of the St Martin Rugby Union

0

The Union players were coming out of a series of great victories and wanted to confirm their current good disposition against a renowned and experienced opponent.

The match began without an observation round, the Guadeloupe were there to impose their game. The St François team tried to impose their physical power but the Saint-Martin defense proved intractable.

The Union, from the 5th minute, opened the scoring on a penalty of almost 45 meters. During the first period, Union players imposed their pace. Applied, effective in rucks and lucid in game launches, they left no space for their opponent and stood out inexorably on the scoreboard (half-time: 37-0).

Despite the magnitude of the score, the Guadeloupeans did not give up and upon resumption, settled in the Union camp for almost 20 minutes. The fact remains that local defense was intractable. Better still, Union players entered new tests at the end of the match. The end of the game was whistled for the final score of 57-0. Note the minute of silence observed by the two formations in memory of Laurent Gros-Désormeaux. _AF
