Last Saturday took place at the Bellevue stadium the Guadeloupe Committee tournament, category U 10. If the final victory went to Bruc, the young Archiball can be legitimately satisfied with their performance throughout the competition.
Eight clubs therefore participated in the Guadeloupe Committee tournament. We could note the presence of the Bruc, Good-Luck, Le Moule, Entente Saint-François-Bastruc, Barracudas de Saint-Barth, Saint-Martin Rugby Union and of course, Archiball teams.
The formations involved, representing 90 children, disputed several meetings lasting two times six minutes.
At the end of the group matches, a classification was established to know the two clubs qualified for the grand final. A final that pitted Bruc against the young rugby players of the Archiball.
At the end of the 12 minutes of play, the two teams left on a parity score after having registered each a try. After a quick calculation, the Bruc was declared the winner thanks to a better goal average (+ 15 against + 11).
During the awards ceremony, David Rondeau, head of the Archiball rugby school, congratulated all of the participants for their good behavior displayed throughout the tournament. _AF
