The national director of the Central Agency of Social Security Bodies (ACOSS) Jean-Louis Rey, also in charge of social recovery, was received in mid-June at the Hôtel de la Collectivité by Senator Guillaume Arnell and the deputy president Ramona Connor, in charge of the Solidarity and Families pole.
While visiting the West Indies, the objective of ACOSS National Director Jean-Louis Rey is "to authorize innovation and to set up an action plan with a more visible and more qualitative recovery in the overseas territories", he indicated to elected officials, reports the Collectivity. During this meeting, the director general of the Caisse Générale de la Sécurité Sociale (CGSS) of Guadeloupe Henri Yacou mentioned that “many Saint-Martin companies do not meet their social obligations with the CGSS and in view of the favors granted by the past". Mr. Rey plans in particular to strengthen the presence of the CGSS in Saint-Martin by opening a post of inspector of companies. A one-stop-shop (Social Security - RSI) could also emerge.
