A 21-year-old resident of Sint-Maarten was shot dead while driving his car by an unidentified individual yesterday at around 12 noon on the RN 7 in Quartier d'Orléans, a stone's throw from the border.
Reached by phone last night, Captain Emmanuel Maignan told us that "the victim was fatally injured after being shot in the body only once". An investigation was opened and entrusted to the Research Brigade of Saint-Martin. _AF
