The Constitutional Council rendered its decision on July 1, which is not favorable for our territory. The Council had been seized in April 2016 by the Council of State - under the conditions provided for in article 61-1 of the Constitution - of a priority question of constitutionality. For the Council, the terms of compensation for the transfers of powers in 2007 are in accordance with the Constitution. "It is a real disappointment even if this decision does not close the current legal proceedings", declared the president.
