Students will have the opportunity on Friday morning to visit several interesting sites: the desalination plant - transforming sea water into drinking water, nearly 6.200 cubic meters are produced, stored and consumed per day -, the wastewater and the Lucas pond (activity supervised by the Nature Reserve). A water village will also be installed at the cultural center to raise public awareness of issues relating to the sustainable management of this resource. The closing evening of this event, coordinated by the Water and Sanitation Establishment of Saint-Martin (EEASM), is scheduled for Waïkiki, Orient Bay. For more info: 05 90 87 62 50.
