All job seekers, including those arriving at the end of the entitlement or who are in partial activity, must update themselves before Friday, May 15 at midnight.
Updating and declaring that you are always looking for a job during this confinement period is necessary in order to remain registered and continue to benefit from Pôle emploi services. Updating allows people receiving compensation to continue receiving their allowance.
- For job seekers arriving at the end of the law between March 1 and May 31,the Government has decided to extend the rights to the back-to-work assistance allowance (ARE) and to the specific solidarity allowance (ASS) during the confinement period. The extension will be done automatically by Pôle emploi, subject of course to the updating of the job seekers concerned.
- For people in partial activity, details on the elements to be declared during the update are available on pole-emploi.fr, in the section "Your rights and procedures - Monthly update and changes in situation". The update is done online at pole-emploi.fr, via the “My space” mobile app or by phone at 3949. At this number, jobseekers can update themselves by answering automatic questions.
