The Center of Excellence and Education through Sport (CEES) was created, during its constitutive general assembly on October 22nd following a deliberation of the Executive Council, in the associative form law 1901. The Center will be operational from December 1, 2022 and aims to promote young talents and technical executives across sports disciplines.
The association will take on several missions, including support for sports and technical training courses through individualized and specific monitoring, favoring quality school support, the development of actions promoting access to the best level for each young person or adult. through the development of a service offer adapted to the needs of sports associations, the development of project engineering and local animation in favor of the sports and social integration of young people and adults, the mobilization and animation of a network of partners represented by natural or legal persons able to support initiatives in favor of integration towards the highest sporting and educational level possible, the creation of technical structures specific to each chosen discipline: The "Territorial Improvement Centers (CPT) » and the participation in the development of the tourist economy of Saint Martin, through the creation or the accompaniment ment of regional, national or international sporting events.
The association is managed by a board of directors of 17 members, elected for 5 years by the general assembly.

1. The Collectivity of Saint Martin, represented by the eight (8) territorial councilors who are members of the "Sport" commission of the collectivity of Saint-Martin.
2. The Territorial Olympic and Sports Committee (CTOS) of Saint-Martin, represented by its president or his delegate as well as 5 members of the management committee representing 5 different disciplines and not represented by the leagues and committees present on the Board of Directors.
3. The leagues and committees of the territory of the Olympic disciplines represented by their president or their delegate, namely:
The Football League of Saint Martin, the Territorial Basketball Committee of the Northern Islands and the Cycling Committee of Saint Martin The founding General Assembly of the Saint Martin "Center of Excellence and Education through Sport" association appointed as member of the board of directors:
President : Mr. Marc Gérald MENARD (Chairman of the COM sport commission)
Vice-president: Mr. Aristide CONNER (President of the Saint Martin Football League)
General secretary : Ms. Audrey GIL (Territorial Councillor, member of the sports commission)
Charles-Henri PALVAIR is appointed Director General of the CEES.
In order to inform sports associations about this new structure, a presentation meeting will be held during the month of December 2022.
The Collectivity of Saint-Martin, at the initiative of this project, would like to salute the involvement of those who worked on its creation and wishes long life to the center of excellence and education through sport of Saint-Martin. .
