More than 5 companies benefiting from the partial activity on April 700, 14 in Guadeloupe and the Northern Islands.

Partial activity is one of the measures implemented by the Government to help companies and their employees cope with the economic difficulties created by COVID19.
It allows employers who are forced to place their employees in partial employment to pay them compensation of 70% of gross salary (i.e. 84% of net) and to be fully reimbursed by the State, up to a limit of 4,5 times the minimum wage.
Requests to benefit from this measure must be entered on the platform: https://activitepartielle.emploi.gouv.fr

> As of April 14, more than 5700 establishments have been authorized to implement partial activity in Guadeloupe, Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin.
These authorizations concern 36 employees for 900 million hours potentially unemployed.

> As of April 14, 4,2 million euros were paid in favor of 1 establishments, or more than 876/3 of the 4 companies that entered their payment request. These payments are validated every day.

The sectors concerned by the partial activity:

For Saint Martin, 4 sectors represent 77% of the authorized workforce:
- Sale and repair of automobiles and motorcycles: 30%
- Construction: 19%
- Accommodation and catering: 15%
- Service activities (administrative, financial, other): 13%

For Saint-Barthélemy, 3 sectors represent 78% of the authorized workforce:
- Sale and repair of automobiles and motorcycles: 40%
- Construction: 23%
- Accommodation and catering: 15%
