The former PAF chief in Saint-Martin, has just published his first book, "Cop, a profession that kills" in which he recounts some of his interventions in the field and tells behind the scenes of the profession.

"I felt the need to communicate about my profession which is too often criticized, as well as behind the scenes for the reader to get a fairer idea," he says. Originally from a modest background in the North of France, Pascal Drampe entered the "Grande Maison" as he called it in June 1986 in the Paris suburbs, 21 years old, as a trainee peacekeeper. "Pumped up, I was finally going to be able to work for social justice, not in a utopian but rather pragmatic way," he wrote.

"Cop, a profession that kills", 300 pages, is available from Nestor editions. A signing session will be organized on May 4 in Saint-Martin. Six other publishing houses in Paris and Lyon had retained the manuscript, but Pascal Drampe ultimately chose Willy Nestor: "Compared to my journey overseas and especially in Guadeloupe, I felt it my duty to entrust my work to Willy Nestor which you must suspect that the welcome from Guadeloupe was up to what I know. ”
