The office of the Minister of Tourism announced earlier this week that Rolando Brison, the head of local tourism, has been appointed interim director at the St. Maarten Tourist Office. Holder of a diploma in tourism and leisure management, he was appointed to this position for a period of one year. His work will be evaluated at the end of his mandate. Most recently, he flew with the St. Maarten team at the Routes Americas conference, and was the first to write an analysis report on the tourism budget, presented publicly to various departments and to Parliament. Its tasks within the office will be multiple and carried out in accordance with the wishes of the ministry.
