Mutual: Avoid renouncing healthcare for financial reasons

0

As part of the "Business Attitudes" workshops, the Initiative Saint-Martin Active platform organized an evening on the challenges of mutual insurance reform, for employees and companies. An evening which was animated by Guilaine De Menou, responsible for companies within the mutual insurance company ADEP.

The evening's program concerned the reform with its impacts on “optical”, “dental” and “hearing” guarantees, contractual obligations and the duty of information of business leaders to employees by January 1, 2020 , as well as a presentation of ADEP. Consequences, or not, of the demonstrations which marked the day of Thursday, the assistance was rather small, but nevertheless attentive. Guilaine De Menou presented the “100% Health” reform recently implemented by the government. A reform that comes into force from January 1, 2020, and which concerns all the contractual and information obligations that companies must make to inform their employees of changes in health coverage, and which concerns all people who have a mutual.

The objective of this reform is to avoid the renouncement of care for financial reasons by offering certain models without “RAC” (Dependent) for the insured and which mainly concerns optics, dental and hearing. _RM
