"Caribbean Tourism Month" Let's go with the "1.2 Tree for Saint Martin!"

On the occasion of "Tourism Month in the Caribbean", the Arts and Culture services and the Tourist Office have teamed up to set up a series of events in Saint Martin. The first took place on Tuesday morning in the Community Gardens with the "1.2 Tree for Saint-Martin" operation.

As part of the "Tourism Month in the Caribbean", the Saint-Martin Tourist Office and the Arts and Culture and Environment service of the Community have decided to conduct joint actions mainly for the local population and to beautify the island; the aim being to show tourists and tour operators that "Saint Martin is smiling again".

One of the first events, "1,2 Tree", was launched on Monday morning by the president of the Tourist Office, Valérie Damaseau. It consists of replanting trees and plants. The idea of ​​this project is to educate the population in the context of the reconstruction of the island on the environment. Thus, Valérie Damaseau, in the presence of the Minister of Culture of Sint-Maarten gave life to a young tree in the gardens of the Community.
