" Only good ! I am a fervent feminist, who advocates equality between men and women, equal rights, equal pay, equal visibility and recognition. I come from an Italian family where the place of the woman revolves around that of the man and only exists through him. Even though I was lucky enough to have less traditional parents, I have childhood memories that marked the little girl that I was and forged the woman that I have become. The world also needs to understand that being a feminist is not an attack on men. I'm delighted that this year's theme is “the future is feminist” but my present is already. Francesca

“If the future is feminist, it can only be positive for society. As a man, I don't feel threatened by this theme. I have four daughters and I want them to occupy the place they deserve in society, so that they can flourish. I worked for a company that was run mostly for men when the majority of women were far more competent than them. After a big restructuring, the management was taken over by a woman and it was night and day. The things put in place have been beneficial to both genders. supported my mother but she was never really able to flourish as a woman, she did not study, she took care of us and the house, which is already a colossal job but the Education is so much about empowering women. I'm not pessimistic about the future but things are changing so slowly, and it's scary to see that in some countries, women's rights are also abused.
