As every year, the association ALEFPA- Le Manteau de Saint-Martin organizes an evening as part of the International Women's Rights Day (March 8) which will take place on Friday March 11 for scheduling reasons.
"This year, we have changed format and we have planned a cocktail at sunset," says Audrey Gil, director of CHRS Le Manteau de Saint-Martin.
“We will honor two female painters by exhibiting their works and organizing a silent auction”.
More than forty paintings will be exhibited. Auctions will start from thirty euros for paintings from a home where young autistic women have painted in the context of an adapted workshop.
The objective is to share a moment of conviviality and to support these talented women and artists.
The evening will be hosted by three local singers who will put women in the spotlight in their songs: Yemayah, Velace and Solano Music, Saint-Martin artists.
The evening will end in music with the presence of a DJ.
A large audience is expected on Friday March 11 from 18 p.m. to 23 p.m. at the restaurant La Terrasse at the West Indies for this noble cause.
The entrance price is ten euros. _AF
