Restaurateurs are also asked to take the contact details of customers so that they can be made available to the ARS for investigation in the event of contact-tracing; these data must be destroyed after 14 days. All the measures to be observed are detailed on the website of the Prefecture of Guadeloupe.

Discos (type P establishments) are not allowed to reopen. In the event of the opening of dance activities despite this ban, the manager is liable to a fine of € 135 per client, to a temporary or permanent administrative closure. Each customer is also likely to be fined (€ 135 fine).

Since then, on September 1, 2020, fourteen establishments open to the public in Saint-Martin and Saint-Barth have been the subject of an administrative closure for up to six months; seventeen were put on formal notice.
