Our local radio team and their listeners celebrated the end of the year at their annual closing party. On the program: food, drink, music and dance. Notable particularity: it was the last time… at Concordia.
Behind the microphone of Youth Radio hides, among others, Patou. His CV is a score, his life a melody. We owe not only to Patou, Youth Radio but also Youth Waves, a famous group which is an integral part of the musical heritage of Saint-Martin and which has already made more than one dance. 2021 marks the big change for Patou and his host of projects. Indeed, the Youth Radio studio currently located in Concordia will soon move to rue de la République in Marigot. Imagine a space with an interior courtyard where you will find a bar, a restaurant, a radio studio (the new one from Youth Radio), a small stage for concerts, a lounge café and a shop. The place has already found its baptismal name, it will be the Main Street Café, in homage to the original name of the rue de la République. Patou thinks of everything, Saint-Martin in mind. And to start the year on a high note, Patou will release his maxi 3 solo tracks under the nickname “Katoow” in January 2021. _VX
