The 2019 edition of Turquoise, the free and bilingual guide for lovers of the sea, is out. New this year, it is also available in digital version.
"Since Irma, half of our distribution points for the paper edition were inoperative," explains Brigitte Delaître, director of publication. She therefore decided to print only half of the 40 copies and to develop the application in parallel.
The Turquoise application can be downloaded for free on IOS and Android, from a smartphone or tablet. There is a pdf version of the guide, the pages of which can be turned (Flip Book). As a bonus, links from advertisements direct the user to advertisers' websites.
Created in 2006 at the request of Métimer (the association of sea professionals of Saint-Martin), the Turquoise guide gives practical information updated each year on Saint-Martin, but also Sint Maarten, Saint-Barthélemy, Anguilla, Saba and Saint-Eustache. This information, focusing on boating and water sports, is written in French and English.
