0

Nearly 15 million genetically modified mosquitoes will be released in Saba for twelve months to fight vector-borne diseases such as chikungunya. The authorization was given by the Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment. These genetically modified mosquitoes have already been used in certain regions of the world.
