All the measures announced to limit the spread of the virus are applicable to Overseas Collectivities.
In this context of managing the health crisis, a certain number of protective measures have been decided by the establishment in order to limit access to the hospital as far as possible outside emergencies, either linked to COVID 19 or linked to serious pathologies or accidents.
The priority objective is to enable the Saint Martin and Saint-Barthélemy Hospital Centers to be able to carry out their missions in the face of the epidemic while preserving their capacity to receive other patients who would require non-reportable care.
In order to protect professionals and patients, general protection measures were activated as of noon on March 17 (access controls, self-access regulation, elimination of internal meetings not essential, etc.)
In connection with the Prefecture and the Rectorate, the children of hospital staff will continue to be welcomed in schools, colleges and high schools to allow their parents to continue their missions.
For the same reasons, in agreement with the local authorities, childcare measures are organized for children under 3 years of age.
