During the national holiday of July 14, in Marigot, several gendarmes and firefighters received distinctions for their good and loyal service.
Chief Warrant Officer Nicolas Heslon, Warrant Officer Philippe Maumene and Chief Housing Officer Eric Nadaud were awarded the Military Medal. As for Brigadiers Adrien Dericbourg and Thomas Faucher and Brigadier-Chief Laurie Jazarguer, they received the bronze national defense medal. Regarding the firefighters, Captain Noubou Lazare, firefighter doctor since 2001, has been promoted to commander.
