A total of 38 cars were checked by the Sint Maarten police on Tuesday February 4 during a general traffic check carried out at the Harold Jack viewpoint on Cole Bay hill.
The screening, which began around 16:30 p.m., allowed officers to confiscate four potentially stolen vehicles. The cars have been towed and are currently under investigation.
During this check, the police imposed five fines on several drivers for failing to comply with traffic rules.
