“While the Robert Weinum high school has just been ranked on the first step of the high schools in France making the most progress for their students, in the annual ranking of the newspaper Le Parisien, and that the professional high school of the northern islands has been recognized among the French institutions performing in 2020 with 92% success in the bac, I would like to salute these rewarding results for our territory and its schools.

This classification, which should be analyzed in all its parameters, reflects the value of the education provided in Saint-Martin and also the work of the students who are at the heart of this collective success. The Robert Weinum high school had already been on the first step of this list in 2017. This ranking is to salute the progress of an establishment and the involvement of the teaching staff.

As such, I congratulate the teaching teams and directors of our two high schools for their commitment to serving Saint-Martin students.

In this turbulent period, these results are a breath of fresh air that enhances the image of our territory. They reflect the potential of Saint-Martin's youth and their ability to not let go despite the hardships of recent months.

The elected representatives of the territorial council join me in saluting all the educational players who have contributed to these encouraging results. Through them, it is a whole school community that must be recognized.

We encourage all the students of Saint-Martin and their teachers, without forgetting the parents whose role remains essential in this journey towards excellence ”.
