The community of Saint-Martin informs users and professionals of the sea that a first phase of work intended to repair the jack on the Sandy-Ground bridge will start from week 8 (from February 18 to 24, 2019).
The repair of the jack is covered by the community up to € 22 and will require a week of work before the Sandy-Ground bridge can operate again at the usual hours.
A second phase of works, planned for 2019, will allow for a heavier intervention on the bridge. As this intervention has an estimated cost of more than € 1 million, a call for competition via the opening of a public market will be launched soon.
The bridge will be operational again in late February.
