Several members of the Territorial Youth Council were received last week by the executive council, chaired by Aline Hanson. The opportunity for them to raise their grievances.
During this meeting, Vice-President Ramona Connor congratulated the Territorial Youth Council for having “largely participated in the work carried out within the framework of the Youth Health Plan”, mentioned the Community. Among the subjects covered, the organization of optional tests in high school and the need for students to receive assistance in France from COM for the search for accommodation. On this last point, Ms. Hanson recalled that "the Maison de Saint-Martin in Paris had the role of precisely supporting Saint-Martin students in their administrative procedures". On the initiative of the elected responsible for Youth Nadine Germain, a meeting should soon be organized between the Territorial Youth Council and the Youth Parliament of Sint Maarten “to identify avenues of cooperation on the theme of youth”, stressed the COM.
