On March 15, the Prefect paid the budget of the Interprofessional Chamber of Saint Martin (CCISM) at the request of the Territorial Chamber of Accounts (CTC).
As a reminder, the prefect had contacted the CTC in April 2018 because she considered that the CCISM had voted the 2018 budget in imbalance. In October, the CTC issued an opinion confirming this imbalance and invited the CCISM to revise its budget. Having had no response within the time allowed, the CTC issued a second opinion last February asking the prefect to settle the said budget. The prefect has taken over the modifications to the CTC. Also the 2018 budget of the CCI of Saint-Martin has settled with a deficit greater than 1,15 million euros including 1,16 million deficit in the operating section and a result of 8 euros in section d 'investment.
