Each year, on the occasion of the National Day against Hepatitis B and C, which took place on June 20, Public Health France publishes epidemiological data, including a bulletin for the West Indies and Guyana. Regarding hepatitis C, the indicators (in 2015) indicate a higher activity for screening the virus in the French overseas departments than in France. In the Antilles-Guyane, the activity is estimated at 83 tests per 1000 inhabitants in Guadeloupe, which “represents the highest activity in France in 2015”.
