JUSTICE: Litigation between partners examined by the courts

How were 77 bags of flour ordered and paid for? This was the question that fueled the debates for almost two hours Thursday at the criminal court of Saint Martin. The purpose is to know if the order has really been placed and therefore the money taken out of the cash register used wisely and not diverted.

The facts date back to the end of February 2016 and took place in a bakery in Marigot.

The manager of the establishment suspected his partner of having issued these two invoices and of having taken the money for personal purposes. The husband, also a partner, is accused of witness tampering.

According to the prosecution, this complicated case mainly reflects the disagreement between the partners. "We are trying to roll us in the flour," he quipped. "Why are there two invoices? Why would the manager file a complaint to denounce facts in which he participated? ", He wondered before requesting a fine of 1 euros against each of the spouses and compensation for the victim, either the bakery business. As a civil party, the manager requested reimbursement of the two invoices, 200 euros in respect of non-pecuniary damage and 5 euros in accordance with article 000-2 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

The judgment was reserved for June 20. (more details on www.soualigapost.com)
