Active saint martin initiative: Young Skills Pass

0

This Thursday, February 10 took place in the premises of Initiative Saint Martin Active (ISMA) the first session of the Buzz Quiz Challenge, a fast and digital course to identify skills and define an intrinsic skills profile.

In partnership with Crédit Mutuel and Dauphin Telecom, the Buzz Quiz Challenge is a digital quiz composed of 44 questions intended for young people from 16 years old (up to 30 years old) in order to challenge them on their strong skills, whether they are graduates or not. The participants of this pilot edition, accompanied by their tourism and hotel and catering teacher, Jean-Pierre Crochepierre, are currently following a BTS in Tourism at the Académie des Métiers, the main collaborator of this initiative aimed at young people. Gladys Repetto, Director of the Académie des Métiers was obviously present at the event. The morning was devoted to the quiz itself, developed by Initiative Saint Martin Active with its knowledge of Saint Martin youth and its expertise of the territory as a supporting wall. The answers will then be encoded in the Aleïa application, mastered by Yohan Joanneau, professor at the ADM, who will reveal the five main skills of each. These strong and innate personal skills will help shape their profile, whether as an entrepreneur or an employee, always keeping in mind that one does not preclude the other. The objective of this action is to identify potential, highlight skills and facilitate contacts, while giving them the opportunity to develop on a personal basis with a possible mix of backgrounds. After the quiz, a speed challenge is offered to young people, at the end of which, 100 euros for the winner offered by Crédit Mutuel represented by Pauline Reinhardt, account manager, and Nelly Brooks, customer advisor, 50 euros for the second. Because there is no loser at Initiative Saint Martin Active, everyone will be able to bank with Crédit Mutuel with a card for one year, free of charge. Charlotte Bioche, Marketing Project Manager at Dauphin Telecom, will present a Data pass worth 20 euros. Individual interviews took place in the afternoon. At the end of this first edition of the Buzz Quiz Challenge, each participant will receive a Young Skills Pass diploma, the symbolic value of which will undoubtedly weigh in on everyone's credibility with potential employers. Sabrina Rivere, Director of Initiative Saint-Martin Active (ISMA), hopes to mobilize 200 young people during 17 sessions spread over 12 months. _VX
