Saint Martin Active Initiative / End of the “Solidarité Antilles” program - Fondation de France

2

Since October 9, the Initiative Saint Martin Active platform has supported business leaders affected by hurricanes Irma and Maria in the resumption of their economic activity and has provided them with new tools. These tools include non-repayable emergency aid (maximum € 5) and a repayable advance (maximum € 000).

“Solidarité Antilles” scheme by the Fondation de France

Following Irma's visit, funds were collected by various organizations at the national and international level. At its level, the Fondation de France launched a call for national solidarity for the West Indies, quickly relayed by the media. Many French people responded to this call for national solidarity from the Fondation de France: more than 11 million euros were collected. These funds are dedicated to different areas available on: https://www.fondationdefrance.org/fr/les-projets-soutenus

The Saint Martin Active Initiative platform was selected for its experience in supporting and funding companies that are creating or growing in the region. It was thus entrusted with the examination of the files of disaster victims and allocated 1.5 million euros, of which 800 € have been released to date by the Fondation de France. As a result, dozens of investigated cases are currently awaiting payment of the aid.

“Solidarité Antilles” system, summary in a few figures

This emergency aid supported by the Fondation de France aims to give entrepreneurs the means necessary to immediately revive their activity insofar as the damage suffered has not had a structural impact on their business.

In two months, nearly 800 companies have been accommodated within the framework of this system and to date 234 requests have been examined, including 138 requests accepted.

In total, more than 1.4 million euros have been committed on the territory for the benefit of 88 companies.

It's fine, but what do we do !? For the other companies which wait to pass in commission.
And, today, we are told that the foundation stops there. So, which are harvested € 11m for sxm.
The first thing to help active people is to return help to them for time disturbed.
Because to date my bank BRED:
    - my cut my CB
    - no overdraft allowed
    - economic activity with slowdowns
    - no insurance compensation
And, so on… I just have to file for bankruptcy.
