ILLITERACY: A delegation from Saint-Martin present in Martinique

As part of the national days of action against illiteracy, the Director of the Local Mission of Saint-Martin accompanied by a Saint-Martin association JAR (Youth, Future and Success) participated on Thursday, September 8 in a conference -debate on illiteracy in the workplace at the Crédit Agricole amphitheater in Lamentin in Martinique at the invitation of the authors “Learning to fly away” a method of learning to read and write for adults.

For Jeff Pierre and his colleague Kristy Jermin, who created their association to help young people establish their project and integrate into working life, "it was a great opportunity to understand the principles of illiteracy, illiteracy and illiteracy and FLE”.

For the Director of the Local Mission, “it is important to understand the difficulties encountered by this public who dare not talk about it, because illiteracy is still taboo in our country.
