Strike at CTOS and COM: "Don't let it go, quit your job and give it to us"

Yesterday began an indefinite strike by the agents of the COM and the CTOS launched by the union Unit 978. Their demands are eight in number (read below). Following the announcement of this strike, a young mother from Saint-Martin raised a rant the day before yesterday on social networks.

“As a parent, I would like to know if we are going to be compensated during your indefinite strike announced at the same time and practically every year?” She asks in the preamble of her message through which she asks the agents of the COM and CTOS to put things into perspective and make them understand that they are privileged and that they exaggerate to complain.

“For those for whom their work is not suitable, we inhabitants of Saint-Martin would like to apply for your places because we would like to have a lasting job and a salary which can fully help our family. Don't give up, quit your job and give it to us. We will be thankful all our life for your action. We can see that part of the recruitment is family, but we assure you that our children have the required qualifications and qualities, ”she writes. The day before, she had described her difficult working conditions (minimum wage, overwork, etc.) and concluded by saying: “for the 85% of the population who are struggling… Share what you are going through with people who think they are living a nightmare. "

This young mother asks the strikers "not to block access to teachers and students who have been deprived of transmitting and receiving education for three years, not to block access to entrepreneurs and business leaders who suffer from an economic crisis for a year ”.

Finally, she speaks for "desperate inhabitants who do not work for the State, who do not have the right to complain for the risk of losing their job where they face dangers every day". And to wish the agents of the COM and the CTOS a "good strike".
