An 18-year-old Saint-Martin boy lost his life last Thursday in a scooter accident on the RN 7, in the direction of Hope Estate - Grand-Case. According to the first elements of the investigation, the young man on a scooter was trying to overtake a truck on the left and he collided with another vehicle which was arriving opposite. The shock was extremely violent. Despite the rapid intervention of the emergency services, the young Saint-Martin finally died of his injuries at the end of the day at the Louis-Constant Fleming hospital. _AF
