Gendarmerie: Visit of Colonel Paulin, second in command of the Gendarmerie of Guadeloupe and the Northern Islands

On March 26 and 27, Colonel Stéphane Paulin, second in command of the gendarmerie of Guadeloupe and the Northern Islands, visited the units of the gendarmerie company of Saint-Martin-Saint-Barthélemy.

On the 26th, during a color ceremony at the Marigot brigade, he gave a statement of satisfaction on behalf of the commander of the overseas gendarmerie to chief warrant officer Florence G., head of the criminal identification cell and digital from Saint-Martin. He was also able to exchange views during a moment of conviviality with the permanent and detached gendarmes on short-term mission from the unit.

In the late afternoon, he went to the courthouse where Vice-Prosecutor Paillard visited him at the new premises of the court.

To end this busy day, the colonel attended the retirement pot of Captain Ravier, commander of the Saint Martin brigade community for 6 years. During this convivial moment, he was able to pay tribute to the exemplary career of this soldier who has just left the institution after 38 years of good and loyal service, and this in the presence of Madam the prefect Laubies, of Yawo Nyuiadzi, 2nd vice-president of the Collectivity and of the vice-prosecutor Paillard.
