Before going on vacation, remember to ask the gendarmerie services to monitor your home! In fact, since July 1, 2018, the holiday tranquility operation has been in operation and consists in monitoring your home during your absence.
The gendarmerie of Saint-Martin and Saint-Barthélemy invites all those who are absent, and in particular during the period from July 1 to November 1, 2018, to present themselves in the gendarmerie brigades and territorial police stations in order to fill in the dedicated form.
Once the data has been collected, the gendarmes will be able to check, during their daily patrol, the dwellings left vacant by the inhabitants having subscribed to this service.
