The hour for the resumption of sporting activities has come! Last Saturday, twenty-two clubs and associations took over the Sports Hall of the Jean-Louis Vanterpool stadium on the occasion of the Sports Forum organized by the Sports Department of the Community.
During this great “Open House” day, sports enthusiasts were able to discover a whole range of activities that will be offered throughout the 2018-2019 season.
The opportunity for them also to meet the association leaders and to exchange with volunteers very committed within their respective club.
At the present time, the vast majority of sporting activities will take place at the Halle des Sports de Marigot, a brand new sports arena whose users must respect the premises!
Otherwise, the Jean-Louis Vanterpool stadium in Marigot is also operational, as well as the Bellevue field for our rugby friends from the Archiball and the Saint-Martin Rugby Union, whose return is scheduled for this Saturday, September 15!
Finally, according to officials of the Community Sports Service, the Grand-Case field should be operational for next October. We cross fingers…
