Nearly 70 players took part on Saturday July 25 in the 2rd competition in "scramble for 2" formula organized by Cariburo.
Shortly after Irma, Cariburo wanted to organize a golf competition in December 2017, to allow practitioners of this discipline to breathe a bit and to meet again after the disaster.
This year, it is another catastrophe which affects Saint-Martin like the whole of humanity. A situation which once again motivated Cariburo to organize another competition to give some enthusiasm to its practitioners with the support of the Sint Maarten Golf Association and the Mullet Bay golf course.
Thus, last Saturday in the early morning, 34 teams spent more than 4 hours "handling" the little white ball on the green course of Mullet Bay.
After a lot of par, birdies, but unfortunately sometimes bogey, most of the participants gathered at the Sunset Beach Bar to eat and "redo the games" while awaiting the publication of the results and the award ceremony.
• Gross winning team: Bashir / Lake with a gross score of 66 won an ergonomic Cariburo chair and a luxury duvet donated by Maison de la Literie.

In addition, this July 2020 coinciding with the anniversary of Cariburo created in Saint-Martin in July 1985, a cake was served to the guests after the leaders had blown out the 35-year candle.
A drawing of lots for the scorecards with nice gifts offered by the many sponsors ended this day of conviviality and friendship that delighted most of the participants.
