Football: Several young Saint-Martin footballers are training in arbitration!

0

The Saint-Martin Football League organized three days of initial referee training for young candidates from several local clubs.

Thomas Brossard, Regional Technical Advisor, led from Tuesday April 19 to Thursday April 21, several sessions composed of 2 parts:

 – A theoretical part (in the conference room of the Fantastic Hotel, in the morning)

– A practical part (at the Jean-Louis Vanterpool stadium, in the afternoon)

Twenty-seven candidates aged 14 to 18, including 15 girls and 12 boys representing 4 clubs (Attackers, Flamingo, Phoenicks and Saint-Louis Stars) followed the sessions led by the trainer with great attention.

At the end of the work, a written test awaited the participants on their knowledge acquired a little earlier in the day.

This training will be an opportunity for young referees to participate even more in the life of their club. A good initiative which also allows all these young footballers to know the essentials of the fundamental rules of the game, to the point of not contesting a decision of the refereeing body on the pretext that they are unaware of them, which is unfortunately still the case for many players. On good terms…_AF
