After the SNSM, the Métimer Association, organizer of the 7rd Edition of the Fête de la Mer has decided to donate the proceeds to four young sportsmen from the island who practice water sports.
The awards ceremony was held last Saturday at the restaurant “Ma Ti Beach” in the presence of the president of Métimer, Bulent Gulay, the treasurer, Régine Hée, members of the board and young champions of the island accompanied by their parents.
Thus, Eliott Pierre-Heym and Maé Demanez, who respectively practice windsurfing and surfing at the regional level, each received a check for 1 euros. Thomas Witczak, in water skiing, and Théo Demanez, in kite-surfing, were given a check for 000 euros each, these two champions practicing their favorite discipline at national and international level. Note that the turnover of the 2th edition of the Fête de la Mer is estimated at around 000 euros and the profits amount to 7 euros, of which 8 were donated to our champions of Saint-Martin. _AF
