Fête de la Mer (June 3 and 4): THE event not to be missed!

0

Firstrd edition of the Fête de la Mer organized by the Métimer Association will take place the weekend of June 3 and 4, 2017 on the beach of Grand-Case. A meeting not to be missed for all lovers of water sports!

This event is unique in the Caribbean and is the perfect opportunity to discover the range of water activities available on our island and to meet the players in the sector: Kayak, stand-up-paddle, initiation to swimming, hobie cat, windsurfing, Hawaiian canoe, diving, snorkeling, glass-bottom boat, motor boat or sailboat (monohull and catamaran), towed banana, water skiing, wake-boarding, jet skiing ... In a spirit of conviviality , the Fête de la Mer is for everyone, beginners or experienced, young or old, sportsmen or day practitioners. Young and old will be spoiled for choice to occupy their weekend and participate in competitions organized by professional instructors.

Installed in 2013 on the beach of Grand-Case, just in front of the lolos, the Festival had then attracted more than 2000 people. As we do not change a formula that works, the Festival of the Sea since that day has been perpetuated in Grand-Case: a large protected bay, a Creole rock renowned for its magnificent seabed, a living setting bordered by restaurants and the magic of sunsets.

In addition to the activities offered by the operators (jet, towed buoy, wake, paddle, snorkeling, walks ...), water shows will be scheduled over the two days, an installed musical entertainment will punctuate the atmosphere, the lolos will ensure the meal and drinks, activities will be installed on the beach: bouncy castle, trampoline ... And to close the event on Sunday evening, a cocktail will bring together partners, sponsors and organizers in a musical atmosphere provided by a group of music installed at Blue Martini!

All these activities have a price, mini! Notebooks of 10 tickets will be sold on site: 1 ticket = 1 € and each activity will correspond to a number of tickets.
