During this holiday season, Christmas market aficionados will have a busy agenda given the wide range of activities on offer on the island. If a market is successful, it is the Orient Bay market.

The Christmas market ran over three evenings last weekend, people crossing the village square marveled at the magnificent decorations which gave the place pure Christmas magic. The particularly windy weather conditions of recent days did not limit the number of visitors to this market organized by the BO Ti Marché association, made up of three members, Rachelle, Manoua and Jean-Michel. The three accomplices are enthusiasts who do not hesitate to give of their person, their time and their means to maintain this tradition of the Christmas market. But not only ... the BO market which took place every Wednesday and Friday from 18 p.m. to 22 p.m. from November to August will soon see an extra day added to offer tourists, locals, curious and market lovers an experience unique. From January 13, “BO Thursdays” will take place, always at the same times as the initial market, 100% artisanal. With no more stand availability on Wednesdays and Fridays, registrations are already open for any craftsman or artist who wishes to participate in the BO Thursdays which will further install the Orient Bay market in the heart of the obligatory passages. of Saint Martin. True to its reputation as an original organization, the BO Ti Marché association has planned musical entertainment, shows and parades for every Thursday.

Considering the decoration put in place for the Christmas edition, this promises beautiful evenings and pretty discoveries of typical craftsmanship of Saint Martin. The 2021 version of the soundtrack Christmas market ended in apotheosis on Sunday with the visit of Santa Claus, awaited by a large number of children, happy to leave with some candy, and a smile on their lips. _VX
