A terrible accident claimed the life of a 44-year-old motorcyclist yesterday around 2 a.m. on the road to Cupecoy. The drama happened in front of the Blue Mall.
The pilot lost control of her two-wheeler after going through a speed bump before she ran into a car parked on the side of the road. The victim was wearing his helmet at the time of the accident.
According to an eyewitness, the helmet partially detached from the victim's head when she slipped under the vehicle, causing the helmet strap to tighten around his neck. Rescue workers' efforts to bring her back to life were unsuccessful.
The Dutch police spokesperson said the pilot was already dead when they arrived at the scene._AF
