Last Monday, around one o'clock in the morning, police patrols had to intervene in the Middle Region for a family conflict.
When they arrive, the officers meet a woman suffering from several lacerations on her hands. The victim informs the police that she had just had a verbal disagreement with her son. A conflict that quickly escalated into a violent physical altercation between her and her 18-year-old son, LP. The police also noticed that the mother had a swollen jaw and a large cut in her left ear. The victim was treated at the scene by the paramedics.
The mother filed an official complaint with the officers present and her son, who was still on the spot, was immediately arrested for ill-treatment and intentional injuries.
He was transferred to the Philipsburg police station where he is currently detained.
