Police officers from the Fraud Department arrested three people last week as part of an investigation into suspected fraud and embezzlement at one of Sint Maarten's largest supermarkets.
The suspects are accused of forging invoices and signatures.
The three people were questioned before being imprisoned pending further investigation.
According to police, the supermarket management filed an official complaint against several employees on March 2, after an internal audit. _AF
