Weekend full of emotions in Guadeloupe for our Saint-Martin rider, Léa KOFFEL, member of the SEA HORSE AND SUN Equestrian Center of Saint-Martin.
The Destreland Show, a show jumping competition on grass where the best riders from Guadeloupe and Martinique meet, took place last weekend in Guadeloupe. Martinique riders made the trip with their horses.
Friday, during the 1st day, the couples discover the track. 35 riders at the start, a delayed time trial, amateur 2 with obstacles at 110 cm. Léa KOFFEL runs a flawless course with her horse DUKATO, who seems to be in very good shape and is in 8th place.
Saturday, AMATEUR 1, Table A against the clock, with bars at 120 cm. Out of 26 riders at the start, Léa and DUKATO finished in 1st place, 2 seconds from the 2nd rider.
Sunday, on the AMATEUR ELITE event, a small fault of the rider who falls at the entrance of the triple, but the contract is fulfilled, with 2 faultless days.
Lea would like to thank her coach Nathanaël PERMAL and her horse DUKATO for her last participation in the DESTRELAND SHOW.
Next trip to Martinique in February with the inter-Caribbean where Léa will go with 4 other riders from the SEA HORSE AND SUN center to defend the colors of Saint Martin.
